Fleuret Cottage

Dating back to 1820, this lovingly restored cottage is nestled at the bottom of the peaceful hamlet of Fleuret. With its rich history and characterful features, this traditional two bedroom stone cottage offers a truly unique holiday experience, with the additional comfort of air conidtioning in the bedrooms.
The ground floor offers a large open plan living/dining room with comfy sofas, farmhouse table seating up to 6, wood burning stove, TV and DVD. The fully fitted kitchen is situated in the traditional bread oven, and leads directly out onto the covered terrace for outdoor dining.
The cottage offers a private garden and parking, as well as full use of the rest of Fleuret grounds and of course the large 14 x 7 metre swimming pool and adjoining games room.
Fleuret hamlet is situated at the end of a cul- de sac, directly opposite the medieval village of Curemonte, one of the 'Plus Beaux Villages de France'. We are very proud of our village and its 3 Chateaux, 3 churches and 3 fountains, it truly is stunning.
We are located in the 'Vallée de la Dordogne', just 10 minutes drive from the Dordogne river, and close to many stunning villages including Collonges la Rouge, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Turenne, Carennac and Autoire. Local gastronomy includes confit de canard, walnuts (wine, oil, tarts to name a few products!) strawberries (Beaulieu has an annual 'Fete de la Fraises'), and 'Vin de Paille'. Curemonte also offer the wonderful 'Lou pé de Gril' who specialize in all things made from dandelions!
Surrounded by wonderful walks, canoeing on the river, lakes, caves and daily markets, you'll never run out of the things to do!
