About Les Rosiers - Lamourache Nord
Gite Les Rosiers is part of a complex of 2 gites in the north of the Lot et Garonne, minutes from the Dordogne and Gironde regions giving many possibilities of places to visit.
40 minutes from Bergerac airport, 1hr20 from Bordeaux airport and very drivable from the ports of St Malo, Caen, Roscoff and the ones further north for a longer drive or overnight on the way.
Both continue to have 5* ratings on Google and Airbnb. Immaculate renovation opening in 2022 and continually upgraded each year.
The windows have mosquito blinds fitted and each room has a vertical fan.
Gite Les Rosiers is a 3 bedroom gite for 5/6 people with plenty of outside space, an exclusive large pool and amazing views across the valleys

Private large pool with roman steps, shallow and deeps ends, cleaned everyday, sunbeds, large parasols and noodles. It is alarmed.
There is a table tennis table with bats and balls, a badminton net with racquets and shuttles, a set of boules and various other outdoor games.
Enjoy plenty of space for privacy, the children can run and play and still find tranquillity in this wonderful location with views in all directions. Sit in the garden and watch the amazing sunsets and incredible starry nights.
There's a welcome basket with a bottle of local wine made by our friends, crisps, biscuits and ground coffee for the filter machine.
Depending on the season we are happy to share the produce from our productive organic garden.
Everything is included in the rental, bedding, towels for showers and pool. There are many extras like shower gel, shampoo, liquid soap, some toilet rolls, all the bits for the kitchen sink, t-towel, kitchen hand towel, a paper towel, dishwasher and washing machine soaps, bin bags... the list goes on.
But most importantly the clean at the end of the stay!

Fabulous gite with fabulous hosts. Our first time to France and it couldn’t have been a more positive experience. The gite was immaculate and fully equipped, even utensils to make cookies whilst we were there! The pool and grounds were fantastic, pool also immaculate. Location wise great. A little shop to grab fresh bakery items about 20 minute walk away. Lots of lovely towns and villages to look around. We did nearly two weeks and were definitely not bored, neither were the children. Would 100% recommend. Thank you Sarah and Andrew.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in France and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah and Andrew’s gîte.
We received a very warm welcome. Upon arrival, everything was clearly explained to us, and a lovely, chilled rosé was waiting, along with a basket full of treats. It was a delightful surprise!
The pool was well-maintained every morning, something we really appreciated. Sarah also stopped by with a fresh cucumber from the garden and asked if we needed any other vegetables—a true sign of how caring and hospitable she is.
On our last day, Sarah came to say goodbye in person. She is truly a warm, kind, and thoughtful person.
We would love to come back and can highly recommend this gîte to everyone. Thank you, Sarah and Andrew, for a fantastic holiday!

This was our second year in a row staying in Les Rosiers with our 3 children. Again, we had a superb week. It was a very hot week, so the pool was perfect to cool down in and to sit under the parasol reading and enjoying the stunning views. The fields were full of sunflowers in the local areas. Duras is a lovely town- the castle is worth a visit and the vibrant night market too. Thank you Sarah and Andrew for a lovely week. Highly recommend.

Sarah is a responsive, available and warm host. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable, very well equipped and cosy. The location is ideal. The place is peaceful. There were 6 of us staying, and it was perfect. There are lots of indoor and outdoor games available, in addition to the swimming pool, which is cleaned every day, giving the accommodation that little bit extra. Large wooded car park and large garden. Small touches like chocolate, cakes and other things were waiting for us when we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped, as is the shower with its quality hygiene products.
We would be delighted to come back to Sarah's place

It never fails to amaze me how lovely the Gite and surrounding area is. We felt truly at home and relaxed into a lovely peaceful routine of relaxing by the pool and visiting the local villages and towns.
We will return again I’m sure for another visit in the future.
