La Montgrande gite

This quality accommodation is situated in Aulnay, which is a large market village.
Sleeping 2 - 4 in the gite (with the option of adding 2 further en suite rooms for extra accommodation, so we can sleep a maximum of 8 people).
This dog friendly gite is part of a beautiful maison de maître set in 2 acres (8000m2) of enclosed garden to enjoy and a plunge pool which is purely for gite guests to use during their stay.
The gite has its own private entrance with an open plan living, dining, kitchen area. The main bedroom has a king size bed and there is a second room with 2 full size single ‘cabin’ style beds ideal for children.
The downstairs bathroom has a walk in shower, sink area with plug socket and toilet.
Bathroom towels and bed linens are included.
Please bring dog blankets and any pool towels.
Outside there is plenty of space to enjoy, with a dining area, sofa / sitting area and some sun loungers.

The village square is an easy 185m stroll, and the village has 4 bars, 3 restaurants, boulangerie, post office, pharmacy, twice weekly market and more.
There is also a supermarket on the edge of the village.
During summer months there are usually several events held in the village including music festival, evening food markets, bastille celebrations and open air cinema screenings.

We are within driving distance of some beautiful places such as La Rochelle, Île de Ré, Saintes, Cognac and much more. The beaches are just under an hour away. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes from the house and around the area, as well as the rivers and lakes too.
For children there are zoos and animal parks, water activities, cycle hire, boat rides and lots more.
