Holidays-Normandy - Ursula gîte

Ursula Gîte at Holidays-Normandy is a spacious 17th-century barn conversion in the Normandy countryside near Coutances, ideal for family holidays, group stays and dog-friendly breaks in France.

Sleeping up to 10 guests, the gîte has three sleeping areas plus a sofa bed in the lounge. The family room has one double and two single beds, making the accommodation particularly flexible for families and multi-generational groups. There are two bathrooms, including a ground-floor accessible shower room.

The gîte has a comfortable lounge, reliable Wi-Fi and workspace, TV with French, international and UK channels, and guest access to Netflix. The well-equipped self-catering kitchen makes longer stays easy, while bed linen and towels are included.

Outside, guests have their own securely enclosed private garden directly in front of the gîte, with outdoor dining, comfortable seating and a barbecue.

Guests also have exclusive use of Mon Jardin Secret, our private recreational meadow beside the gîte. Here you'll find a private six-person hot tub, seasonal shallow splash pool for cooling off, covered table tennis, trampoline, swings, picnic areas and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the Normandy countryside.

Holidays-Normandy is also home to our rescue animals, including our friendly llamas, Pichou, Ursula and Janet, along with rescue hens and ducks.

Dogs are very welcome by prior agreement. The private gîte garden is securely enclosed, and dogs can also enjoy Mon Jardin Secret on a lead. Dog beds and food and water bowls are available free of charge on request, with a dog splash pool available during the summer.

Families travelling with a baby can request one cot with bedding, one high chair and one changing table, along with stair gates and child-friendly crockery and cutlery, at no additional charge.

We're around five minutes from the historic cathedral town of Coutances and approximately 12 minutes by car from the beach at Hauteville-sur-Mer. The location makes a peaceful base for exploring western Normandy, including the Cotentin coast, Granville, the D-Day beaches and Mont-Saint-Michel.

Guests receive a personal welcome from us, Sam and Lee, along with local recommendations and a welcome basket featuring Normandy products and fresh eggs from our rescue hens.

Free secure parking is available on site. Early check-in may be available free of charge by arrangement, subject to availability.
