The Tranquille Place Gite 2

Gite 2 is a very spacious and beautiful apartment which benefits from shared use of our heated pool (with the 1 bed gite). Set in a beautiful position in the Charente Maritime region, this gite is still within walking or cycling distance of the nearest village (Néré) where there are amenities such as a bar, restaurant and boulangerie. Nearby is also the lively market village of Aulnay, with more amenities to choose from including 4 bars, 3 restaurants, boulangerie, supermarket, twice weekly market and more.
The gite has a large and bright open plan living, kitchen, dining area downstairs. Upstairs there is a main bedroom with king sized bed and en suite bathroom. Across the landing there is a very large twin bedroom (which can have an extra bed in here for another 1 or 2 guests). There is a second bathroom also with shower, and an area on the mezzanine landing area which can also accommodate the extra bed if preferred.
The gite can also be rented with our one bedroomed gite for larger groups.
The area is rich with things to see and do for all ages, day trips include La Rochelle, Île de Ré, Cognac for tasting experiences, Saintes for it history and more. The beaches and coastal towns are an hour away.
