The property
About The Tranquille Place Gite 1
Gite 1 is a very spacious gite in a beautiful position in the Charente Maritime countryside, just 2km from Néré with restaurant, bar, boulangerie and more. Only 10 minutes from the lively market village of Aulnay.
The setting is stunning, with plenty of open space in the large plot / garden, and a heated pool which is shared with our other gite (2 bed).
We have games for all the family and the children, play area, BBQ area and outside seating / lounging too.
The gite consists of a large open plan living kitchen, dining room downstairs. The sofa is a sofa bed and therefore can accommodate 2 extra guests (2 children or 1 adult).
Upstairs there is a main bedroom with en suite shower room with toilet and sink , plus a separate toilet / sink.
The area has plenty to see and do, including day trips to La Rochelle, Île de Ré, Cognac for tasting experiences, Saintes for its history and so much more. The beautiful beaches and coastal towns are an hour away.
