Welcome to Gîte de la Gravée, a charming 3-star holiday cottage in the peaceful village of Saint-Michel-le-Cloucq, in the heart of the Vendée, western France.

Lovingly restored from an old family home passed down through generations, our cottage combines traditional character with modern comforts. With around 100 m² of living space, it sleeps up to 4 guests and is ideal for couples, families or friends looking for a relaxing getaway.

The cottage offers:

• A fully equipped kitchen
• Two bedrooms and a mezzanine
• One bathroom, one shower room and two toilets
• Wi-Fi, TVs and everything you need for a comfortable stay

Bed linen and towels are provided, and your beds will be made up ready for your arrival.

Relax and enjoy the garden

The private 500 m² garden has several sunny and shaded spots where you can unwind, enjoy a good book or share a meal outdoors. There is also a lovely summer room with garden furniture and a fireplace, perfect for relaxing whatever the season.

Ideally located between La Rochelle and Puy du Fou, Gîte de la Gravée is a great base for discovering the region:

• Fontenay-le-Comte, just a few minutes away, with its historic streets and beautiful architecture
• Mervent Forest, perfect for walking, cycling and enjoying nature
• The Marais Poitevin, around 10 km away, with its peaceful waterways and beautiful scenery
• Vouvant, a picturesque village classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France
• The Atlantic coast, with its sandy beaches and seaside resorts, about an hour's drive away
• Puy du Fou, the world-famous historical theme park, also around an hour away
• La Rochelle, a beautiful coastal city just over an hour away, with its historic Old Port, medieval towers, charming old streets and lively waterfront. A wonderful place to enjoy a stroll, discover its maritime heritage or relax on a terrace overlooking the harbour.
