Le Vieux Café Holiday Cottage

A characterful French holiday cottage with plenty of space for families, a pool for sunny afternoons and a peaceful village setting – with the beaches of the Vendée just a short drive away.

Le Vieux Café is a former village café, dating back to the 1870s and full of original character, including exposed stone walls and wooden beams. It has been carefully renovated and updated over the years to create a comfortable, well-equipped home for families and friends.

Sleeping 6–7 guests in three bedrooms and there is plenty of room to relax both inside and out.

Inside you'll find:

- Three comfortable bedrooms, including two rooms with 160 x 200cm king-size beds and a twin bedroom
- Two shower rooms and a separate WC
- A spacious lounge with two leather sofas and a further double sofa
- 50" Smart TV with UK and French channels, DVD player and games console
- Fast fibre Wi-Fi throughout the cottage
- Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave and large fridge/freezer
- Dining table that can seat up to 8–10 people
- Family equipment including travel cot, highchair, booster seat and plastic tableware
- Double glazing, shutters and stair gates for extra comfort with younger children

Outside, there's plenty of room to enjoy the French sunshine:

And when you're ready to explore, the sandy Atlantic beaches are around 15 minutes away, with the Marais Poitevin, local markets, villages, walking and cycling routes all close by.

Dogs are welcome too, with a few thoughtful extras provided for four-legged guests.

Best of all, we live on site, so we're nearby if you need anything or would like some local recommendations – while leaving you to enjoy your holiday at your own pace.
